This Zoom Room classroom is equipped with a projector with speakers, ceiling camera, and ceiling microphone.
Please note that the computer beside the lectern must be on in order for the A/V switch to work.
Wirelessly share your audio and video to the projector:
- Using the Epson remote control, turn the projector on and allow it to warm up and display.
- Verify that the Zoom Room software is being displayed on the screen, if not:
- Verify that the computer attached to the wall beside of the podium is turned on.
- Toggle/Press the A/V switch between the two inputs.
- Execute the Zoom app on your laptop and sign in with SSO (virginiatech if blank).
- Click the Share Screen icon and enter the Share code from the top-right corner of the Zoom Room projector screen.
Wired share your audio and video to the projector:
- Using the remote control, turn the projector on and allow it to warm up and display.
- If the Zoom Room software is displayed, toggle/press the A/V switch to switch to the secondary input.
- Plug in the HDMI cable to your laptop and verify that your laptop is set to duplicate or extend the display.
- If you would like to use the ceiling mounted microphone and HuddleCam, plug in the USB connector to your laptop in addition to the HDMI plug. Set your computer to use “USB Audio” for Mic, “Epson Projector” for sound (out), and the HuddleCam as webcam.
Control the Zoom Room for Remote Meetings:
